Red Scale is published by Badrulhisham Bahadzor and Uro Apps PLT ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what Red Scale does — and does not do — with your information. It’s short because there isn’t much to tell.

The one thing to understand first

Everything you make in Red Scale stays on your phone. The photos you take, the grades Red Scale calculates, and the folders you sort them into are stored only on your device. We do not run a server that holds your photos or readings. There is no account and no sign-up. We cannot see your readings, and neither can anyone else, unless you choose to share them yourself.

What is stored on your device

The following is saved locally on your phone only and is never sent to us or to anyone else:

The photos you take, with the grade stamped onto them.
The grades and the folders you organise them into.
Your app settings (such as language and appearance).

This lives in the App’s private storage on your device. If you uninstall the App without exporting first, this data is removed with it — and because we never hold a copy, it cannot be recovered.

The camera

Red Scale uses your phone’s camera for one purpose: to take the photo you are grading. The camera is only active while you are on the camera screen, and the image is processed on your device. Nothing is streamed or uploaded.

Sharing is always your choice

When you tap share on a reading, your phone’s standard share sheet opens and you decide where the photo goes — a message, an email, your photo library, wherever you choose. Red Scale never shares anything on its own.

Purchases

If Red Scale offers a paid subscription, the purchase is handled by Apple’s App Store or Google Play, and subscription status is managed through RevenueCat. To do this, those services receive the information they need to process and verify a purchase — for example, an anonymous in-app identifier and the store’s purchase receipt. If you want those purchase records deleted, just email us and we’ll remove them from RevenueCat — your subscription itself stays with Apple or Google, so cancel or manage it there. We never receive or store your card or payment details; those stay with Apple or Google. RevenueCat’s handling of this information is covered by its own privacy policy. If you never make a purchase, none of this applies to you.

No analytics, no tracking, no ads

Red Scale does not include advertising, and it does not track your behaviour or send analytics about how you use the App. There is no third-party SDK quietly watching what you do.

Children

Red Scale is a general-purpose colour utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone — there is no account and no server collecting personal data at all.

Changes to this policy

If the App’s data behaviour ever changes, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will also be surfaced in the App.
